On the morning of 29th August, the ‘Chinese Opera into Campus’ inspection team with the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the CPC arrived at Anqing Foreign Language School to conduct inspection and guidance. Also in company were Undersecretary He Xinhua from the Publicity Department with Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Director General Pan Gongxi with Municipal Culture Radio& News Publishing Bureau as well as Deputy Director General Chen Yaling with Municipal Education& Sports Bureau.
Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli and other school leaders warmly received the checking group. Madam President presented a brief introduction in terms of Anqing Foreign Language School’s school running conditions. Moreover, led by teacher Li Ping, the inspection team toured our campus and got detailed understanding towards the implementation status and the achievement of Anqing Foreign Language School’s ‘Chinese Opera into Campus’ campaign.
Afterwards, officials in the checking group paid a visit to Anqing Foreign Language School’s opera culture exhibition stand, learnt in details Anqing Foreign Language School’s printed school-based opera teaching materials, experienced the Six Feet Lane culture, viewed and emulated the Student Club’s martial arts drilling, checked the bulletin board& display panels in addition to getting in-depth insight into the ‘Chinese Opera into Campus’ project.
Last but not the least, the checking group arrived at the School Lecture Hall to watch the spectacular opera performance with some of the teachers, students and parents.
In conclusion, after comprehensively understanding and experiencing the opera culture, the inspection team spoke highly of Anqing Foreign Language School’s ‘Chinese Opera into Campus’ program. Officials concluded that Anqing Foreign Language School profoundly understood the significance of the nationwide grand event, tangibly fulfilled duties and obligations in regard to inheriting the traditional Chinese opera, genuinely facilitated students’ integrated development by means of this meaningful campaign as well as enriched the campus culture and students’ life experience.
